DESCRIPTION
Our “Let’s Eat in NYC Chinatown” youth hoodie – where fun meets flavor! ✌️
The quintessential Chinese American dish, chop suey, uses whatever is on hand. Its name, derived from the Cantonese term "tsa-sui" meaning "odds and ends," reflects the nature of the dish — a medley of various ingredients, usually a mixture of stir-fried meat and vegetables with rice or noodles. Chop suey symbolizes the adaptation of Chinese culinary practices to Western palates shaped by migration and integration. 🇺🇸
In Manhattan’s Chinatown, Hop Kee is the only place still serving chop suey! 🥡
